# SiTrabajo Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SiTrabajo ("SiTrabajo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

SiTrabajo helps people looking for work ("Workers") and people or businesses looking to hire help ("Employers") find and communicate with each other quickly.

## 1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, information generated by your use of the Service, and information from service providers.

Information you may provide includes:

- Name or display name.
- Business name.
- Email address.
- Optional phone number.
- Optional WhatsApp number or other contact method.
- Password or authentication information.
- City, state, and device location if you allow location access or provide it voluntarily.
- Worker skills, categories, languages, transportation, tools, travel radius, and profile details.
- Employer job posts, job locations, pay labels, start times, worker needs, and contact preferences.
- Short video introductions and related upload information.
- In-app messages.
- Reviews, ratings, tags, and comments.
- Support, moderation, or legal requests you send us.

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, bank account numbers, immigration documents, medical information, or other highly sensitive information unless we expressly request it for a specific feature or legal requirement.

The SiTrabajo iOS app does not sell digital goods or feature unlocks.

## 2. Location Information

SiTrabajo may use location information to:

- Show Workers jobs near them.
- Estimate distance between Workers and job locations.
- Help Employers save job or business locations.
- Improve matching, safety, fraud prevention, and Service functionality.

Location may come from device GPS, browser location permission, manually entered city/state, or profile settings.

You can deny device location permission and enter a location manually where supported. You can also update your saved location in the Service.

Location accuracy may vary. Distance estimates are approximate.

## 3. Videos, Photos, and Uploaded Content

Workers may upload short video introductions or other profile content. We use this content to operate worker profiles, help Employers evaluate potential Workers, moderate content, prevent abuse, and provide support.

We may store, process, transcode, compress, review, or remove uploaded content as needed to operate and protect the Service.

## 4. Messages and Reviews

SiTrabajo may provide in-app messaging and reviews. We may collect and store messages, message metadata, reviews, ratings, and related conversation information.

We may access, review, restrict, or disclose messages and reviews when reasonably needed for:

- Service operation.
- User support.
- Safety and fraud prevention.
- Content moderation.
- Legal compliance.
- Enforcing our Terms and Conditions.

## 5. Phone Verification and Authentication

Phone number and WhatsApp number are optional in SiTrabajo. You can create an account and use core job-posting and worker-interest features with an email address and in-app contact methods.

If you choose to verify a phone number, we may use Firebase, Google, or similar third-party services for phone verification, authentication, fraud prevention, and account security.

If you verify a phone number, our providers may process your phone number, verification code events, device/browser information, reCAPTCHA or abuse-prevention signals, and related authentication data.

Phone verification is optional and helps reduce abuse, but it does not prove identity, legal status, qualifications, or trustworthiness.

## 6. Business Services Outside the iOS App

The current SiTrabajo iOS app does not sell digital goods or feature unlocks. Current iOS app features are available without buying digital access inside the app or elsewhere.

SiTrabajo may separately support business relationships outside the iOS app for real-world marketplace operations, employer onboarding, support, implementation, or related business services. Those arrangements do not unlock restricted digital content inside the iOS app.

## 7. Device, Usage, and Technical Information

We may collect device and usage information such as:

- IP address.
- Browser, operating system, device type, and app version.
- Pages or screens viewed.
- Actions taken in the Service.
- Approximate location from IP address.
- Log data, crash data, diagnostic data, and performance data.
- Cookies, local storage, or similar technologies.

We use this information to operate, secure, debug, improve, and measure the Service.

## 8. How We Use Information

We use information to:

- Create and manage accounts.
- Provide Worker profiles and Employer job posts.
- Show nearby jobs and estimate distances.
- Enable in-app messages and contact methods.
- Verify phone numbers when users choose that optional feature and reduce abuse.
- Provide support and respond to requests.
- Moderate content and enforce our Terms.
- Detect fraud, spam, unsafe activity, and security issues.
- Improve, test, and develop the Service.
- Send Service-related messages, alerts, and updates.
- Comply with legal obligations.

## 9. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

- Workers and Employers as needed to operate profiles, job posts, applications, messages, reviews, and hiring connections.
- Service providers that host, store, process, secure, analyze, or support the Service.
- Authentication and optional phone verification providers such as Firebase or Google.
- Cloud storage providers for video and file uploads.
- Professional advisors, legal counsel, insurers, accountants, or auditors.
- Law enforcement, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- A buyer, successor, or affiliate in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense of exchanging it for money.

## 10. Public or Shared Profile Information

Some information may be visible to other users depending on how the Service is used.

For example:

- Employers may see Worker profile names, skills, videos, approximate location, contact methods, ratings, and messages.
- Workers may see Employer names, business names, job posts, job locations, contact methods, ratings, and messages.
- Reviews may be visible to other users if enabled.

Do not include private or sensitive information in profile content, videos, messages, job posts, or reviews unless you are comfortable sharing it with the intended audience.

## 11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, improve performance, prevent abuse, and support analytics.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly if cookies or local storage are disabled.

## 12. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to:

- Provide the Service.
- Maintain accounts and records.
- Resolve disputes.
- Enforce our Terms.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
- Comply with legal, accounting, and security obligations.

We may retain limited information after account deletion where required or permitted by law, including records related to fraud prevention, safety, moderation, legal claims, or backups.

## 13. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding certain personal information.

You can update some account and profile information directly in the Service.

You can delete your account directly inside the app from the active account panel by tapping "Delete account" and confirming the deletion.

Some information may not be deleted immediately if we must keep it for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, or backup reasons.

## 14. Account and Data Deletion

SiTrabajo includes an in-app account deletion flow. Sign in, open the active account panel, tap "Delete account," then confirm deletion. The app signs you out after deletion is complete.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for using caution when communicating, meeting, hiring, or working with other users.

## 16. Children

SiTrabajo is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to use the Service.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

## 17. International Users

If you use SiTrabajo from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those places may differ from the laws where you live.

## 18. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services, including authentication providers, storage providers, app stores, maps, analytics, or communication tools.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services that we do not control. Review their privacy policies before using those services.

## 19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
